The New York Red Bulls will begin the 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs on the road as they make the trek down the New Jersey Turnpike to take on the Philadelphia Union.

The long-time rivals will meet up Sunday, October 20, at Talen Energy Stadium in West Chester, Pa. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m. with television coverage on FS1.

New York had a chance to host a first-round playoff game but lost the season finale 3-0 to the Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo. The Red Bulls finished the season 14-14-6 (48 points) in sixth place.

This season, the Red Bulls and Union split their two games. In June, Philadelphia topped New York 3-2 at Talen Energy Stadium. On September 22 at Red Bull Arena, the home side defeated the Union 2-0
