The 2019 season will be New York City FC’s fifth in Major League Soccer, and the franchise will kick off the new campaign in the same city in which it played its first ever match.

On March 2, the boys from the Bronx will meet Orlando City SC. Eight days later, New York City will return to the friendly confines of Yankee Stadium to open the home portion of its schedule against Wayne Rooney and D.C. United.

The Hudson River Derby will resume on July 14 when NYCFC travels across the river to Harrison, N.J., to meet the New York Red Bulls. On August 24, the Red Bulls will make the return trip to the Bronx.
