Two Long Island Boys HS Teams Ranked Nationally

With the playoffs on the horizon, only two Long Island high school soccer teams remain ranked nationally by United Soccer Coaches.

In the boys Top-25 poll, Brentwood (14-0-0) holds steady at No. 3 while Amityville (15-0-0) also stays put in its previous week spot at No. 13. 

During the past week, Brentwood had wins over Longwood 2-0, Ward Melville 3-2 and Central Islip 4-3. Amityville had wins this past week over Bayport-Blue Point 9-0 and Shoreham/Wading River 2-1.

There were no Long Island girls teams ranked in the Top-25 this week.
