The LIU Post men’s soccer team will welcome 10 new players to the team this fall, which includes two players from Seaford.

Luke Kasulke, a midfielder, and Ryan Pearse, also a midfielder, will take their soccer talents from the south shore of Long Island and Seaford High School to the north shore for the Pioneers.

During his high school playing days, Kasulke was named All-State, All-Long Island, All-Region and All-County. His Seaford High School teammate Pearse was a two-time All-County honoree and played soccer and ran track & field for four years.

“Luke is a perfect fit for this recruiting class,” said Michael Mordocco, the team’s first-year head coach. “His tremendous work rate, attitude on the pitch and knowledge of the game will allow him to compete in the ECC right away.”

Of Pearse, the head coach said, “Ryan is a fierce competitor and I cannot wait to get him on campus to work with him. Ryan is committed to developing into a player and his athleticism can provide competition in several positions. He is a great addition to our program as both a player and a person.”
