New Stony Brook women’s soccer head coach Tobias Bischof will get a good look at his team this spring with a seven-game schedule set for the Seawolves.
“We’re very excited to release our 2019 spring schedule,” Bischof said. “We have a lot of quality local competition ahead of us and I look forward to seeing my team compete and continue to prepare for the fall season. It will be a great first set of tests for me and the team.”
Bischof was named the women’s soccer team’s head coach in late January. He replaced Brendan Faherty, who left Stony Brook to take the women’s soccer head coaching position at Yale University.
Stony Brook opens its spring schedule against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 31, with kick off set for 3:30 p.m. at LaValle Stadium.
The following two games will be played on the university’s track turf. Molloy visits Stony Brook on April 5 at 5:30. Two days later the team will host its annual Alumni Scrimmage at 11 a.m.
On Sunday, April 14, the Seawolves head across the Long Island Sound to take part in the second annual Going for Gold Pediatric Cancer Jamboree held at the University of Bridgeport. Stony Brook will play three games, facing New Haven at 10 a.m., Bryant at 12 p.m. and Fairfield at 2 p.m.
Stony Brook’s spring slate wraps up on April 18, when the team hosts Adelphi at LaValle Stadium for a 7:45 p.m. kickoff.
