Stony Brook WSOC Ranked No. 3 In Preseason Conference Poll

Stony Brook University’s women’s soccer team begins defense of its co-regular season America East title as the third-ranked team in the conference’s preseason coaches poll. 

The Seawolves received 49 points including two first-place votes in the poll, and sit behind Hartford (54 points, two first-place votes) and defending conference champion Albany (57 points, four first-place votes).

Stony Brook begins the 2019 season on August 22 against Northeastern (see full schedule), which will also be the first game for new head coach Tobias Bischof. Earlier this year, Bischof joined the Seawolves from Hofstra University where he was an assistant coach for women’s soccer head coach Simon Riddiough.
