Stony Brook Men’s Soccer Inspires Young Boy To Stay Strong

Frank Anzaldi is a 12 year-old who has intractable epilepsy, a seizure disorder in which a patient’s seizures fail to come under control with treatment. These seizures are sometimes also called “uncontrolled” or “refractory.”

Through the Team Impact program Frankie teamed up with the men’s soccer team at Stony Brook University. The players made him an official member of the squad, with Frankie frequently attending matches and being announced with the team’s starting 11.

The video below from Stony Brook features Frankie and his new friends on the men’s soccer team.
