The St. John’s men’s soccer team has elbowed its way back into the Top-10 of the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll, moving up two spots from the previous week.

Since Week 2 of the USC poll this fall, the Red Storm (9-1-0, 3-0-0) Big East) has been a fixture in the Top-25 ranging from No. 19 to a highwater mark of No. 9.

Following the team’s only loss of the season, 1-0 against Maryland in extra-time on September 23, St. John’s has returned to winning ways with back-to-back victories away from home. On September 28, the Johnnies defeated Butler 1-0 and on October 4 topped Marquette 4-0.

Following its October 8 non-conference match against Temple, St. John’s will play the final six games of the season against Big East foes. They will welcome Villanova (October 12), Georgetown (October 23) and DePaul (November 2) to Belson Stadium.

The final three road matches of the season include trips to Creighton (October 19), Seton Hall (October 26) and Providence (November 6).
