St. John’s Moves Up In Latest United Soccer Coaches Poll

As the St. John’s heads toward the home stretch of the regular season, the Red Storm remains ranked among the top teams in Division I men’s soccer.

In the October 15 United Soccer Coaches poll, the Johnnies are ranked No. 7, up three spots from the previous week’s poll. This is the sixth consecutive week St. John’s has been ranked in the Top-25.

During the past week, St. John’s has extended its winning streak to four with wins over Temple 1-0 and Villanova 4-0. The Red Storm has not allowed a goal for 360 minutes and has eight clean sheets on the season.

In addition to its Top-10 position in the United Soccer Coaches poll, St. John’s is also ranked No. 2 in the first RPI of the season. 

The Red Storm will be back on the pitch on Saturday as the team heads to Omaha, Neb., to take on Creighton. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
