Just prior to making the trek to France for the 2019 Women’s World Cup, the United States Women’s National Team played its last match on home soil at Red Bull Arena.
The world champions will be back in the New York Metropolitan Area as part of the annual SheBelieves Cup. The U.S. will meet Spain on Sunday, March 8, at Red Bull Arena as part of a double-header. The other match will feature Japan facing England.
Kickoff for Japan and England is set for 2:15 p.m. with the US and Spain kicking off at 5 p.m.
The U.S./Spain meeting will be a rematch of the American’s Round of 16 win over Spain in the 2019 FIFA World Cup. The USWNT defeated Spain en route to its fourth FIFA World Cup title in France last Summer.
Tickets go on-sale to the general public on Friday, January 17, at 10 a.m. ET. The three U.S. matches will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks and in Spanish on TUDN.
