The New York Red Bulls have now won four of their past five matches following its 4-0 win over Real Salt Lake Saturday at Red Bull Arena.

After a scoreless first half, New York would score four times in a span of 25 minutes. With the match approaching the hour mark, Michael Amir Murillo was able to break the scoreless tie as he sent a ball towards the Salt Lake net. The ball was redirected by RSL’s Marcelo Silva for an own goal in the 58th minute.

With the crowd still celebrating the first goal, the Red Bulls would quickly double its lead. Sean Davis connected with Kaku, who threaded a pass into the box for Daniel Royer. Royer took two touches and finished to the far post for a 59th-minute goal.

Murillo, again, threatened inside the box as he dribbled towards the middle and finished in a crowded space to increase the lead to three in the 64th minute.

For the second-straight match, Omir Fernandez came on as a sub and scored to give New York a 4-0 win.

Captain and goalkeeper Luis Robles recorded three saves for his second consecutive clean sheet and 67th career.

New York next heads south on I-95 to face the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, June 8, at Talen Energy Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
