Kimberly Robledo of Commack will embark on her sophomore season at John Jay College as the CUNYAC Preseason Player of the Year.
The honor comes just ahead of the 2018 season that finds the Bloodhounds ranked No. 3 in the CUNYAC Preseason Poll, behind No. 1 Staten Island and No. 2 CCNY.
Robledo comes off of her freshman season when she led the conference in goals (14) and points (28) and was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Year. She also had a conference-best four game-winning goals.
During the 2017 season, she scored two or more goals four times including a five-goal performance vs. York College.
John Jay opens the 2018 season on August 31 against Cedar Crest College.
