According to The Guardian, the Premier League leaders have agreed to a deal with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg for Kevin De Bruyne that is valued in the neighborhood of $84 million.
Reports over the past several weeks have linked De Bruyne with the Citizens, and it appears that the a breakthrough between the clubs was reached on Wednesday.
The Guardian reported that De Bruyne is scheduled to fly to England Thursday for a medical and could be unveiled as a member of Manchester City on Friday.
If completed, this would be the second major signing for City this summer. Raheem Sterling joined the club from Liverpool after the completion of a $76 million transfer deal.
