On Friday, France Football reported that Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have agreed to a transfer deal valued at €65 million ($71.3 million). Di Maria, who is vacationing in the United States, is expected to join the French champions who are in the U.S. for a preseason tour, the report said.
The Argentine international joined Manchester United prior to the start of the 2014-15 season for €75 million ($82.3 million).
While the signing of Di Maria last year was a big splash for United and then new head coach Louis van Gaal, DiMaria had trouble adjusting to his new club as well as life in Manchester. He played in 27 Premier League games scoring only 3 goals.
