New York Red Bulls extended its unbeaten streak to three following a 1-1 draw on the road against Orlando City SC.
The visitors long goal on the evening came from a familiar source as Bradley Wright-Phillips scored in the 19th minute off a pass from Sacha Kljestan.
Orlando would answer in the 67th minute off a goal from Kevin Molino. The play started with a long ball to Cyle Larin, who cut inside and lost possession, but the loose ball fell to the feet of Molino for the finish.
Orlando’s Cristian Higuita was issued a straight red card in the 85th minute, but New York was unable to capitalize with the late man-advantage.
New York extends its unbeaten streak to three games (2-0-1) and is now 3-6-1 on the season. New York is 2-1-1 all-time against Orlando City.
