NYCFC Draws With New England (VIDEO)

It was another frustrating afternoon for New York City FC as the club played to a 1-1 draw with New England Revolution Saturday at Yankee Stadium.

Despite taking an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Tommy McNamara and playing a man up for most of the second half following a red card given to New England’s Gershon Koffie, New York was unable to find a second goal to gain all three points.

With NYCFC leading 1-0, the Revolution’s Chris Tierney scored on a set piece from just outside the New York 18-yard box to tie the game.

With the tie, New York moves to 1-2-1 on the season. Below are highlights and postgame interviews from the match.
