Kristen Prevosto of Selden could not have picked a better time to score her first goal of the season for the Marist women’s soccer team.
On Sunday afternoon against Loyola (MD), the redshirt sophomore midfielder scored the game-winning goal with seven seconds remaining in regulation to give the Red Foxes a 2-1 win.

With the scored tied at one and the final seconds of regulation ticking off the clock, Northport’s Victoria Colatosti send a high-arching cross into the penalty area. There, Prevosto was able to head the ball over Loyola keeper Lily Andres.
The win improved Marist to 3-2 on the season.
