Long Island native Allie Long is no stranger to the pitch, having played on soccer fields across the United States and around the world.
On Friday, July 26, the current Reign FC star and World Cup champion stood on the pitching mound at T-Mobile Park in Seattle to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Mariners game with the Detroit Tigers.
The Northport native gave fans a bit of a show, juggling a baseball the way she juggles a soccer ball. And after showing some fancy footwork, Long also showed off a rather impressive right arm.
That’s how it’s done. ⚽⚾ pic.twitter.com/SKKsxq4879
