Major League Soccer

Major League SoccerA Frank Lampard hat trick and another strong effort by Tommy McNamara in New York City FC’s 5-1 win over the Colorado Rapids have led both to be named to Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week for Week 21.

With David Villa serving a one game suspension for yellow card accumulation, Lampard wore NYC’s captain’s armband and played the role of leader with three goals against Rapids netminder Tim Howard.
