Monique Iannella has been a fixture on the pitch for Hofstra’s women’s soccer team this season, logging more than 1,700 minutes of game action.
As the No. 3 seed in the CAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, Hofstra won consecutive 1-0 wins over Delaware and Northeastern. Ianella played 90 minutes in both matches and helped anchor a defensive effort that kept both teams off the scoreboard.
In two seasons on Long Island with the Pride, the Victoria, Australia-native has appeared in 41 games with 38 starts. She has one goal and 11 assists.
Hofstra will be back in action on Sunday in the CAA Final at James Madison. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
