The game’s lone goal came in the 10th minute as Hendrik Hebbeker scored his first career goal on a penalty kick. Hofstra keeper Alex Ashton made six saves to earn the clean sheet. The win extended the Pride’s unbeaten streak in season openers to eight (6-0-2).
