Jack Harrison is among the five nominees for Major League Soccer’s Goal of the Week. The 20-year old England native has continued to grow this year and become a bigger part of New York City FC offense. Through Week 17, Harrison is second on the team with 7 goals, trailing only David Villa’s 10 tallies.
In the first New York Derby of the 2017 MLS Season, Harrison’s tallied the opening goal in New York City’s dominating 2-0 win over rival New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. Also nominated this week are Sporting Kansas City’s Ike Opara, Chicago Fire’s David Accam, Philadelphia Union’s Fafa Picault and D.C. United’s Patrick Nyarko.
