Farmingdale State, Dickinson Meet In DIII NCAA Tourney

Farmingdale State’s women’s soccer team is back in the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship and will play its First Round game in Massachusetts.

The Rams will open the tournament against No. 11 Dickinson College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The game will be played at Amherst College. The other match that day will feature host No. 20 Amherst facing Maine Maritime

Farmingdale State (14-5-3) qualified for the NCAA Tournament by winning the Skyline Conference for the fourth straight season and 12th time in the past 13 years. FSC defeated Manhattanville, 5-0, to claim the Skyline’s automatic bid into the NCAA’s.

Dickinson (12-4-2) earned an at-large bid into the NCAA’s. The Red Devils lost, 2-0, to Johns Hopkins in the Centennial Conference Championship.

The winners of the two matches will meet in the Second Round on Sunday at 1 p.m.
