Played on July 16 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Roccaro was in the starting 11 at midfield and played 61 minutes. She was replaced by Yuri Kawamura. The former Notre Dame star joined North Carolina in April after spending the 2017 NWSL season with Houston Dash.

Drafted fifth overall by Houston in the 2016 NWSL College Draft, Roccaro appeared in 18 matches for the Dash in 2017. Internationally, she was a member of the 2012 U-20 U.S. Women’s National Team that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup and was co-captain of the U-20 team in 2014.

This season with the NWSL-leading Courage, her time on the pitch has been limited as she has appeared in two matches. Most recently she played 82 minutes in North Carolina’s scoreless draw with Utah Royals FC on July 20.
