Gregg Berhalter has chosen his 23-man roster for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s upcoming friendlies against Panama and Costa Rica.
The team’s first matches of 2019 will be held January 27 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., (8 p.m. ET ESPN2, UniMás, UDN) and February 2 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif. (3:30 p.m. FOX, UniMás, UDN),
In his first camp as head coach, Berhalter said the team had a great two weeks focusing on building team culture, style of play and competition.
“The entire group has worked hard and brought an excellent mindset, and we thank them for the consistent effort thus far,” he said. “We look forward to continuing to build on these ideas in Phoenix and measure our progress in the game against Panama.”
