For the second consecutive week, Adelphi senior Andre de Giorgi has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.

In a 2-0 week for Adelphi, De Giorgi scored three goals, the first being the game-winner in a 3-2 win at Stonehill in the 88th minute on Tuesday. He also added two second-half goals in a 5-0 shutout of Saint Michael’s on Saturday at home.

On the season, the native of Lisbon, Portugal, has nine goals through five games, including a four-goal performance vs. Molloy on September 6.

De Giorgi and the third-ranked Panthers put their unbeaten streak on the line on Wednesday night on Motamed Field, when they welcome the Chargers of the University of New Haven for a 7 p.m. NE10 contest.
