The 2018 United Women’s Soccer season kicks off this week and Top Drawer Soccer has included Long Island native Kayla Saager as one of its 10 players to watch this spring and summer.

The East Islip native who is a redshirt junior at Binghamton University is back for another UWS season with the Long Island Rough Riders.

After sitting out a season following a transfer from West Virginia University, Saager was an offensive force for Binghamton this past fall scoring 11 goals and chipping in with seven assists. She was named the America East Striker of the Year after leading the conference in goals, assists and points.

The Rough Riders kick off their UWS schedule Saturday, May 12, when they meet New Jersey Copa FC at St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel, N.J.
