Running from January 4-9 in Orlando, FL, he is the 14th Red Storm men’s soccer player to receive an invite to the combine since it was established in 2003.
The Aberdeen, Scotland, native is also the fifth St. John’s player over the past seven seasons to receive a combine invite. The most recent Red Storm player to attend the pre-draft combine was Harry Cooksley in 2018.
A transfer from Hartwick College, Wilson played and started in 13 games for the Johnnies in 2018 and finished with a 5-5-3 record and four clean sheets. On the season, he registered a 1.16 goals against average to go along with a .781 save percentage.
A two-time Big East Goalkeeper of the Week, Wilson ranked second in the conference in saves per game and fourth in save percentage on the season. During conference play, he led the Big East with 49 total saves in nine appearances.
He also received national Player of the Week honors from United Soccer Coaches late in the season when he turned in two big in-conference performances. In back-to-back matches in late October, Wilson made eight saves in a 1-1 draw against Villanova. Just days later, he made seven saves in a 1-0 win over No. 24 Georgetown.
