Tim Parker played high school soccer in Hicksville and his college ball just to the west of his hometown in Queens for St. John’s University.

Now, Parker could be heading close to home should rumors of a possible trade between his current team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, and the New York Red Bulls come to fruition.

According to a report by Steven Goff of the Washington Post, the two teams are said to be in discussions about a possible trade that would have Parker heading east and either Felipe Martins or allocation money heading to Vancouver. Goff reported the possible deal citing multiple sources.

Selected by Vancouver with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, Parker has spent three seasons with the Whitecaps appearing in 76 matches with 74 starts.
