New York Red Bulls midfielder Florian Valot will miss the remainder of the 2018 season after tearing his ACL in his left knee.
According to the team, the injury occurred during training on Thursday, July 5, at Red Bulls Training Facility in East Hanover, N.J. He will undergo surgery in the coming weeks.
In 14 games this season, the French midfielder had three goals and five assists in 14 matches following his promotion from NYRB II in December. Valot joined NYRB II in June of 2016 after graduating from Rider University.
