Red Bulls

As temperatures in the New York Metropolitan Area took a dive into single digits, the New York Red Bulls opened preseason camp in Florida with 35 players.

The roster includes 22 of 24 players on the first team. Center back Aaron Long will miss New York’s Florida trip as he is training with the U.S. Men’s National Team. Midfielder Cristian Casseres, Jr., is also absent as he trains with Venezuelan U-20 Men’s National Team.

German midfielder Marc Rzatkowski, whose loan ended at the end of 2018, will join the Red Bulls in camp. Also in attendance is Marcus Epps, who the team selected in the MLS Waiver Draft in December. Red Bulls Academy product Omir Fernandez and 2018 NYRB II defender Allen Yanes also join New York in Bradenton.
