NYCFC Again Heads To Orlando To Open Season

For the third time in its five year history, New York City FC (NYCFC) will open its season in central Florida

On March 2, Orlando City SC will host New York City on Saturday, March 2, with kick off set for 2:30 p.m. The boys in blue will be back at Yankee Stadium to open the home portion of its 2019 Major League Soccer campaign on Sunday, March 10, against D.C. United. Game time is 3 p.m.

In addition to the season and home opener announcements, NYCFC will be the opponent for the opening match at Minnesota United FC’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday, April 13 at 5 pm ET. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

New York City played its first-ever regular season match at Camping World Stadium in Orlando at the start of the 2015 season. The two expansion sides played to 1-1 draw.
