For the second time in three weeks, New York Surf’s Flo Gamby was named to the United Women’s Soccer’s (UWS) Team of the Week, this time receiving the honor for the season’s Week VI.

The Goffs Oak, England, native who played her college soccer at the University of Bridgeport, scored New York’s lone goal in Surf’s 1-1 draw with New Jersey Copa FC. The New York/New Jersey matchup did little to create separation among the top four in the UWS Eastern Conference.

Entering Week VII, Long Island Rough Riders and New Jersey each have 13 points, with New England Mutiny at 12 points and Surf at 11 points.

In the West, defending UWS champion Santa Clarita continued their undefeated run to start the campaign. In the Midwest, Grand Rapids notched two wins over conference contenders during the weekend action.
