Leicester City may be preparing for its second consecutive season in the Premier League, but the squad will do so without manager Nigel Pearson.
The club on Tuesday, June 30, made the announcement of Pearson’s dismissal and acknowledged his effort with the club over the past three-plus years. However, club officials said that fundamental differences led to the determination that the working relationship between Pearson and the team’s Board was no longer viable.
Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh will take charge of first team duties while the club begins its recruitment of a new manager. There will be no further comment until this process has concluded.
