Based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, the club is currently a member of English Football’s League Two.
A 2018 graduate Hofstra graduate, the native of Nottingham, England, started 61 of the 68 games he played for the Pride over four seasons. A two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection and team captain his senior season, he finished his college career with 14 goals and four assists. He was also named to the All-CAA Rookie Team in his freshman season.
According to a statement posted on Port Vale’s website, the deal keeps the former Hofstra star with the club through the end of the season. He had been training with the club in the weeks prior to his signing.
“Danny has been training with us for some time now and I have been impressed with the attitude and skill that he’s shown,” said Neil Aspin, Port Vale’s head coach. “This will be his first chance in the football league and I’m hopeful he’ll be able to take his chance.”
