Dunn, Long Among NWSL Allocated National Team Players

Two players with Long Island roots and two from Sky Blue FC are among 31 allocated national team players who will play in the NWSL for the 2019 season.

Rockville Centre native Crystal Dunn returns with the defending league champions North Carolina Courage. Northport native Allie Long will again suit up with ReignFC. Both play for the United States Women’s National Team.

Sky Blue FC’s allocated players including Carli Lloyd of the U.S. Women’s Team and Kailen Sheridan, who plays for the Canadian Women’s National Team.

Of the 31 players listed, 22 are from the U.S. and nine are from Canada. There are five newly allocated players on the list: Morgan Brian, Adrianna Franch, and McCall Zerboni from the U.S. and Canada’s Stephanie Labbé.
